About Jenny

I began my yoga journey over 15 years ago and was hooked from the first flow. An avid traveler, I’ve been fortunate to practice different yogic and meditative disciplines across Korea, Japan, Mexico, and Spain, where I completed my 200-hour teacher training with Wild Warrior Yoga in beautiful Andalusia. These global experiences have nurtured a keen sense of compassion and inclusivity in my teaching style, along with a profound appreciation for all the small, seemingly random connections that enrich our lives.

I'm certified in ashtanga, vinyasa, pranayama and meditation, and most recently began deepening my study of yin at Daya Yoga under the training of Anna Lesniak and Natalya Malarczuk. In my classes, I seek to cultivate a strong mind-body connection, guiding students toward a state of strength and balance -- between effort and ease, between power and flexibility, between tapas (discipline) and santosha (contentment). As a singer, I love to incorporate healing vibrations into my classes, whether in the form of Indic instruments, chimes and bells, mantras, or an invigorating playlist!

I currently teach weekly classes at both Daya Yoga locations in Bushwick/Ridgewood and sub at The Shala in Fort Greene. I also offer privates for individuals and small groups. When I’m not on the mat, you can find me hanging out with my dachshund-mix Loki, performing with The Lost Keys NYC, or reading all things sci-fi/fantasy.

“Jenny has a profound respect and unwavering commitment to yoga's tradition. She also has years of personal practice which means her classes seamlessly blend ancient wisdom and contemporary flair. This harmony is palpable as she integrates her exquisite voice and musicality with traditional mantras. She also encourages her students to listen to their own bodies, honor their own journeys and ultimately embrace their own uniqueness."
